Description
I'll make this nutella-ish spread every so often, and store the leftovers in the freezer. It's sweet without being loaded with added sugars, and goes great on toasted 100% Whole Wheat Bread or on oatmeal. Each serving is about 2 tbsp or 40g

Cost
Total Cost: $1.32
Cost per Serving: $0.33

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp (32 g) Natural peanut butter ($0.17)
- 2 tbsp (11 g) Cocoa powder ($0.01)
- 1/2 tsp (3 g) Liquid stevia or monk fruit ($0.20)
- 1 scoop (30 g) Whey protein powder, unflavored ($0.67)
- 6 tbsp (92 g) Unsweetened applesauce ($0.22)
- 1/2 tsp (2 g) Almond extract ($0.03)
- Small pinch (0 g) Salt ($0.00)

Instructions
1.  Mix all ingredients in a small container, and store the leftovers in the fridge. In place of liquid stevia or monk fruit, you can use 1/2 tbsp (10 g) honey or maple syrup

2.  Optionally, you can turn this spread into some chocolate protein bites. Mix in unflavored casein (1 scoop, 30 g) and oat flour (2 tbsp, 15 g), and shape into balls. Makes about 10-12
