Description
These simple kebabs are made with ground turkey (either beef or lamb will work as well), and they can be cooked inside on a pan or grilled outdoors. The simple combination of lean meats and spices makes this a super quick and delicious summer main that pairs well with some tzatziki. Nutrition facts are for a serving size of 2 skewers/patties

Ingredients
Spice Mix
- 1 tbsp (10 g) Garlic powder ($0.11)
- 1 tbsp (8 g) Onion powder ($0.11)
- 2 tsp (6 g) Allspice, ground ($0.85)
- 2 tsp (5 g) Black pepper, ground ($0.17)
- 1 tsp (3 g) Turmeric, ground ($0.10)
- 1 tsp (1.5 g) Oregano, dried ($0.06)
- 1/2 tsp (1.5 g) Cinnamon ($0.02)
- 1/2 tsp (1.5 g) Nutmeg, ground ($0.08)
- 1/2 tsp (3 g) Salt ($0.00)
- 1/4 tsp (0.75 g) Cloves, ground ($0.08)

Rest of the kebabs
- 1 small (70 g) Onion ($0.23)
- 1.3 lb (589 g) Ground turkey, 93/7 ($5.17)
- 4 tbsp (2 g) Dill, fresh ($0.28)
- 1 tbsp (14 g) Extra virgin olive oil ($0.19)

Instructions
1.  In a small bowl, whisk together the spices - garlic powder, onion powder, allspice, black pepper, turmeric, oregano, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and cloves

2.  In a large bowl, combine together the spice mix, finely diced onion, fresh dill, and ground meat. Optionally, you can sautee the onion with a pinch of salt until translucent for extra flavor

3.  Divide the meat into 8 pieces. Either make 8 patties for cooking inside, or 8 skewers for grilling. You can also use skewers for inside cooking too if you have a big enough pan. Brush or spray the outside of the meat with olive oil


4.  Stovetop - heat a large skillet to medium high heat, and cook the patties on each side for about 5 minutes, or until cooked through (at least 165F for turkey)


5.  Grill - heat a grill to medium heat, and cook the skewers for about 5 minutes per side, or until cooked through (at least 165F for turkey)
