Description
 Chili is such a classic cold weather hearty meal, and this version comes together pretty quickly and makes a lot of food. Mix in some elbow noodles or rice if you want to bulk it up even more. Nothing beats the smell of coming home and smelling fresh chili just waiting for you for dinner. Ingredients

Vegetables & Spies
  • 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 medium Onion
  • 3 medium Bell pepper
  • 2 tbsp Minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup Chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Cumin, ground
  • 1/2 tbsp Salt
Meat
  • 1.3 lb Ground turkey, 93/7
Cans & Cocoa
  • 28oz can Crushed tomatoes
  • 14 oz Diced tomatoes
  • 4x15.5oz cans Beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tbsp Cocoa powder
Instructions

  1. Chop up the vegetables, and add them to a large skillet with olive oil, garlic, and salt. Cook over medium heat (covered) until soft. Set vegetables aside in crock pot

  2. Meanwhile, drain and rinse the cans of beans. Transfer all the beans, cocoa, and tomatoes to the crock pot

  3. Add in the meat and cook until no longer pink over medium heat, and transfer to crockpot

  4. Cover and cook for 8 hours on low or 6 hours on high
