Description
If you mix together melted coconut oil with cocoa powder, you get a 100% Chocolate Bar. Simple as that. Well, you can replace the cocoa with whey protein powder, either chocolate or vanilla, to end up with a sugar free bar of milk or white chocolate. I preferred the white chocolate with the vanilla protein powder, but the chocolate was good too. You can even use powdered peanut butter and chop up the bar to make peanut butter chips!

  1. Add your coconut oil to a small bowl, and microwave for 1 minute to melt. Stir in the protein powder with a silicone spatula until smooth. Transfer the batter to a chocolate mold, and refrigerate to harden, about 1 hour

  2. You can also use powdered peanut butter to make a peanut butter flavored bar. Just use 5 tbsp (30 g) powdered peanut butter in place of whey. My powdered peanut butter is unsweetened and unsalted, so I also added 1/2 tsp (2.5 g) liquid monk fruit and 1/8 tsp (0.75 g) salt

  3. Note that the texture will differ depending on your protein powder. With vanilla, the melted chocolate resembled more like regular melted chocolate. But with my chocolate protein powder, I ended up with more of a dough, and it was grittier and saltier. Either way, spread the mix into a chocolate mold and refrigerate to harden. Both ended up being solid bars of chocolate in the end
