Description
 Golden milk is a traditional Indian turmeric milk used for reducing inflammation. The black pepper aids in activating the anti inflammatory effects of turmeric, and my addition of magnesium will relax your muscles and calm your mind. Pair this with a protein and vegetable as your carb side at dinner time, and you'll be sleeping like a baby

  • 1 medium, frozen Banana, overripe
  • 1 cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric, ground
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper, ground
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg, ground

  1. Break your banana into chunks, and freeze overnight

  2. Blend your frozen banana with the rest of the ingredients

  3. Optionally, add a scoop of protein powder. You can also use whatever milk you have on hand; today was almond for me
