 Have you ever wanted to make tomato pesto, but oil free and using canned tomato paste instead of fresh or sun dried tomatoes? Yeah idk why I bothered asking, only I come up with this stuff lmao. Each serving is about 3 tbsp or 50 g

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Walnuts
  • 6 oz Tomato paste, canned
  • 3 tbsp Minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Basil, dried
  • 1 tbsp Oregano, dried
  • 1 tbsp Thyme, dried
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper, ground
  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice
Instructions
Cook Mode Off: Prevents screen dimming

  1. Toast the nuts until fragrant in a small pan over medium heat (about 5 minutes)

  2. Add all ingredients to a small food processor, and blend until combined and the nuts are chopped
