Deep Dish Pizza is certainly an unconventional way to celebrate Pi Day, but it is technically a pie, so I'm counting it. As a New Yorker with Italian heritage, deep dish is probably the last thing that comes to mind when I think of pizza; but it may just be my new favorite. Using a 9" cake pan and some leftover pizza dough, I'm making a simple deep dish pizza with mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce. I'm keeping it simple today, but you can also top with any meat or roasted veggies you like. For dessert, I'm celebrating Pi day with a Banana No-Cream Pie

  • 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

  • 2 tbsp Grated parmesan cheese
